How it works
For Men:
Men can have a semen analysis, ranging from basic to more advanced tests, e.g. antisperm antibody and genetic testing. We also have a fully licensed sperm cryobank and offer lifestyle advice to improve your fertility.
For Women:
Women can have hormone and screening tests. We also provide intrauterine insemination (IUI) treatment using sperm from your partner or a donor, to improve your chances of pregnancy. Our ultrasound service is used to monitor growing follicles and womb lining thickness. We provide non-invasive prenatal testing when pregnant.
Our Services
Clinical Advice and Interpretation
We work with each client individually to understand their medical history and coordinate tests and treatments that are appropriate for them, ensuring that their fertility treatment will give them the best possible outcome. Staff are always available throughout treatment to answer any queries that arise.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT)
A safe, easy, and reliable non-invasive prenatal blood test that screens for chromosomal abnormalities and syndromes (e.g. Downs, Edwards and Patau syndrome).
Purpose: NIPT allows analysis of the health of your pregnancy as early as 10 weeks.
Semen Analysis
Checks how many sperm are present and how healthy they are.
Purpose: To assess male fertility by looking at the number of sperm in an ejaculate (count), how they swim (motility) and their shape (morphology).
How do I get my results?
We can discuss your results, and explain what they mean, as soon as the test is completed (usually the same day).
IUI - Intrauterine Insemination
IUI is a low-tech fertility treatment whereby a high concentration of fast sperm are gently introduced to the womb at the time of ovulation.
DI - Donor Insemination
DI allows sperm from a highly fertile sperm donor to be used for IUI treatment. All our sperm donors are fully screened to ensure their safety and fertility.
Sperm Cryobanking
Sperm cryobanking reduces the temperature of the cells to the ultra-cold level of liquid nitrogen. The sperm are preserved at this temperature until they are required for future use.
Purpose: Sperm freezing may be useful:
Post Vasectomy Semen Analysis
Post vasectomy semen analysis (PVSA) is the microscopic examination of the fluid to see if any sperm cells continue to be present and whether they are swimming.
Purpose: To assess if a man is still producing potentially fertile sperm after a vasectomy, and to confirm if the vasectomy has been successful.
